About Us
Come and enjoy the relaxed and friendly hospitality that is Cave Mountain Motel. We are located in the Northern Catskills, 1.5 miles west of the picturesque Village of Windham, and 10 miles North of Hunter Mountain. Our motel is directly across from Cave Mountain, affording a beautiful, ever changing view from our front door. Enjoy the impressive sights nature has to offer across the mountains as the seasons change. You might even catch a glimpse of a black bear, coyote, or mountain lion.
All the seasons here at Cave Mountain Motel bring with it fun and exciting activities. You can enjoy fishing in trout stocked streams, where you’re almost guaranteed a catch. Golfing at two fabulous golf courses. Adventurous hiking and biking on miles of spectacular trails in the Catskill Preserve.We are one and a half miles from Windham's fantastic Mountain Bike Park geared for all skill levels. Festivals through out the summer and fall, Winery tours and swimming nearby at a water park or North South lake.Winter of course brings skiing,cross country skiing, snow shoeing, ice skating and snow tubing.

Cave Mountain Motel is open all year for your convenience. Our guests are important to us, and we strive to make your stay here enjoyable. We take pride in offering clean and comfy accommodations. All of our rooms are non-smoking and have two double-beds with a private bathroom. We also have cable television in each room so you can catch your favorite shows, or watch sports events that fans can’t miss. We know how important connecting to WiFi is for most of our guests, and so we offer free WiFi. All rooms have individual thermostats and A/C.
Children 12 and under are welcome to stay free with their parents. All guests are offered a lite Continental Breakfast (including coffee, juice, yogurt, cereal and coffeecake) in our quaint breakfast room with a wood burning stove as our Thank you for staying with us.
